Who I Am As An Artist

I am probably motivated more then ever before to connecting people to who they are and what they are capable of through photographs that are more than pretty pictures. I really do not want to hand you something for a social media post or a holiday card. I want to give you back YOUR story. I want these to be memories, not just holiday cards or gifts for grandparents.

Marriage and family are going to be some of your greatest joys and shattered dreams. You have no idea where you will be in 3 year, 5 years, 10 years and taking the time to preserve more than a stressed out smile is so important to what I do and who I am as a photographer. 

I am far more than a mom with a nice camera. I am a visual artist committed to documenting life in bright color and tender moments. 

Where Did This Begin?

I've been a professional photographer in the Charlotte area for more than 8 years. I'm a distinguished member of The Motherhood Anthology, have been named the BEST NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER in the Charlotte area since 2016, and have been published in a host of magazines, and online photography journals. I am humbled to serve my community in a way that brings people together and acts as a visual reminder that life is fragile, beautiful, and meaningful. 

As a Person

I live in the little Mint Hill area of Charlotte, NC with my husband of 15+ years and our three wild children. In my spare time I love mowing my yard, finding new places to travel, and trying not to kill my indoor plants. 

I am a devoted hunter for the best Thai food around, sunset-seeker, and overall head-in-the-clouds Ohio girl.
