About Newborn Photography

If you're on this page you must be looking for a newborn photographer/newborn photography and the first thing I'd like to say is - huge congratulations, I'm so excited for you!!

I know you must have a million and one questions! After all this is a very important time and picking the right newborn photographer is key to making sure you get the perfect baby photos. So here is some information on my style of newborn photography & other details to help answer some of the queries you may have.

Newborn photos are best suited for babies aged up to 3 weeks. They're a wonderful way to capture how tiny, curly and sleepy newborn babies are at this age.

I'm one of a very few newborn photographers in Charlotte, NC that focuses in a more natural, baby led style of newborn photography. While many newborn photographers prefer to structure their sessions around a few set poses that they use for every newborn photoshoot, for my newborn photography I prefer to let your baby lay how they are most comfortable and simply position them to capture every detail beautifully.

This also means that all of the newborn photos that I capture will be as unique as your baby. And this also means I don't use props, unnecessary distractions, or a variety of colors. Baby's are photographed in white and on white newborn photography layers for perfectly-pure photographs. Headbands for little girls are all in white, and styled to be a more natural/pure aesthetic.

I recommend booking just after your 20 week ultrasound to make sure I am available. To reserve your sessions, there is  a $300 deposit, which then becomes a credit toward your final purchase. Please reach out to find out more about my pricing and what's included. 

When baby arrives you send me a message and we then confirm the exact day and time for your newborn photos. 2-3 weeks after your photoshoot I send you a link to view all of your beautiful baby photos and you select the images you would like.
